FOR TODAY
Outside my window...it is cold and breezy.
I am thinking…about all the plans that had to be canceled this week.
I am thankful for…the fact that I have not caught the flu at this time.
From the learning rooms…nothing at the moment. We are on vacation!
From the kitchen…split green pea soup, YUM!!!
I am wearing…something warm!
I am creating…a quilt.
I am going…nowhere. This is a crazy week here. The big holiday here is New Year’s Day, so the best place to be is safe at home!
I am reading…my Bible. I finished my reading goal for this year.
I am hoping…to sandwich my quilt tomorrow.
I am hearing…the t.v. The family is watching something that I don’t particularly care for, so I am blogging! 😉
Around the house…the tree lights are shining, the village is glowing and the kitchen is messy.
One of my favorite things…only one??? O.K. This week it is quilting.
A few plans for the rest of the week:
work on my quilt
New Year’s Eve party at church
take down the tree…maybe
Here is a picture thought I am sharing…

It’s been 2 years since we have had a good snow. I’m hoping for one this year!
I hope you can stay well. No snow for us yet — we usually only get it once a year or so in Jan. or Feb.
I feel its safest to be home New Year’s Day too. Here I am on New Year’s Day, getting a little caught up on my blogging. I wonder how your Christmas tea party went. =)
