Tea Time

Excuse my mess, but preparations are underway for a tea party.  I am hostessing my first Christmas tea party for the ladies in the church here and their friends.  I am hoping for 20 ladies, but there may be a few more.  Excitement is in the air.

Menu

Lemon Cranberry Scones

Devonshire Cream

Lemon Curd

Cream Cheese, Celery and Walnut Sandwiches

Golden Curry Chicken Sandwiches

Almond Sugar Cookies

Star-shaped Sugar Cookies

Peanut Butter Bon Bons

Black Tea with Cream and Sugar

I get lots of ideas from some of my favorite books about tea.  I will post more as the preparations continue…

  1. Oh how lovely…I would love to go to a tea such as this…your menu sounds great!

I’m sure great times will be had by all!

Hi! ☺ I just wanted to also let you know that I had been contemplating using WordPress instead of blogger and your blog was an inspiration to me to go ahead and try it. I even used the same theme…I hope you don’t mind, but they don’t have an awful lot to choose from…

  2. That looks wonderful! The Lord bless you ever so much in this and cause it to be a wonderful time of friendship, things of lasting value and to warm your heart from the very bottom all the way through it. And bless your guests and friends as well. I pray His blessings be on you and yours. And that you will be well and able to enjoy this to the fullest. Amen!
