The truth that I have been overwhelmed with of late is the fact that My God is good. I’ve been through a lot in the last year, but today my heart is overflowing with the goodness of God. He has answered so many prayers. He has granted some desires of my heart. He has ministered to my grieving heart in too many ways to share in a blog post. I have learned that no matter what is going on in my life, God is good. In the middle of sorrow, surgeries, delayed answer to prayer, earthquakes, tsunamis, typhoons, misunderstandings of language and culture…God is good!
Psalm 119:68, “Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes.”
The Lord is good—Tell it wherever you go.
The Lord is good—Tell it that others may know!
Tell of His blessings and tell of His love,
Tell how He’s coming from Heaven above:
The Lord is good—Tell it wherever you go.

Drinking at the Springs 
Sometimes those most simple truths about God can simply undo me. God is good! He didn’t have to be that way; he could have been a God of something else, but instead he’s a God of goodness. Hallelujah! Thanks for this reminder, Kim.
