asuke-2013-tim-79Thank you to each one of you who joined me for 31 Days of Making Melody.  I hope it was a blessing to you.  There is nothing quite like filling your mind with Scripturally sound music.

During the month of November, I plan to share some quotes from the devotional book, The Quiet Place: Daily Devotional Readings by Nancy Leigh DeMoss (Wolgemuth).  I have been reading this book this year and it has been such a blessing to me.  There are several entries on gratitude.  Instead of sharing things I am thankful for, I thought I would strive to turn our hearts and minds turned toward true gratitude during this month of Thanksgiving.

I’ve also come across a blog post with 30 Bible Verses of Thanksgiving.  Writing out one of these verses every day in November would be a wonderful way to turn our hearts toward thankfulness.

His Robes For Mine

AsukeHis robes for mine: O wonderful exchange!
Clothed in my sin, Christ suffered ‘neath God’s rage.
