Splitting the Sea

“No sea is deeper than the ocean of His love. There in no army stronger than His hosts, no force greater than His throne of grace, no enemy who can overcome His direct and indirect work in our lives.

The reality of the Red Sea in a word, is this: God will always make a way for His tired, yet trusting, children, even if He must split the sea to do it.”

“He has promised never to leave you or forsake you, never to forget, never to abandon.  His love never ceases, and His care never dims.

So if you find yourself in a difficult spot, remember:  you are there by God’s appointment, in His keeping, under His training, and for His time.

And all evidence to the contrary, there’s no better place to be.”

“Every time we resist the slightest temptation, we honor God.  Every time we overcome even the smallest problem by trusting and obeying our Lord Jesus, God is glorified in our lives.  Whenever we choose character over convenience, faithfulness over ease, or honesty over deceit, we bring honor to the Lord Himself.  When we serve Him with watertight obedience even in small things, God is glorified, just as at the Red Sea.”
