I am now back in Japan and feeling like jet lag maybe behind me. I hit the ground running with lots of things on the calendar. I’m finding that if I don’t have a break, I may not be able to jump into September’s busy teaching schedule. I would appreciate your prayers during this transition time. My hubby and a few missionaries are getting away for some much needed fellowship time. I hope to get back to regular blogging soon. Thank you for your patience as I took such a long break. There is lots to share and I am eager to do so. In the meantime, I hope you will join me in taking some time to be thankful for the many blessings the Lord continues to send our way. Have a blessed day!
When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,
When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,
Count your many blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.
Are you ever burdened with a load of care?
Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?
Count your many blessings, every doubt will fly,
And you will keep singing as the days go by.
When you look at others with their lands and gold,
Think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold;
Count your many blessings. Wealth can never buy
Your reward in heaven, nor your home on high. So, amid the conflict whether great or small,
Do not be disheartened, God is over all;
Count your many blessings, angels will attend,
Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
Count your blessings, see what God hath done!
Count your blessings, name them one by one,
And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Praying God will give you His rest and refreshment before the busy teaching schedule begins.
Glad you made it safe and sound! Hoping and praying God will give you some down time before teaching. I need that after just a regular vacation – I would imagine it is needed exponentially more after such a busy furlough and then such a long trip.
Glad to hear you had a safe trip! I know it sounds silly, but I got a tourist book all about Japan and I know I will enjoy looking/reading about the tourist sites of Japan. Praying for you.
