I’ve been doing a little research for an upcoming speaking engagement. I wanted to confirm a few of my facts since my resources are dated a few years back. When looking for the top 10 most expensive cities in the world to live in, I discovered that three of the top ten are in Japan. Our beautiful city is number ten with Tokyo listed as number one. I have no trouble believing this since I live there. We had a young lady from our church move to Tokyo for a teaching job. She rented a one room “apartment” with a loft large enough to hold her twin size futon mattress on the floor for over $700 a month!!!! There were no stairs, only a ladder. I am so grateful that we serve a God who provides.
