Taking the “Dare” of 1,000 Gifts

stumbling upon one thousand gifts by Ann Voskamp

at a rest area, the memories that were evoked while watching a young mother skip with her even younger child

a hotel room at the end of a very long day

an adult son who cares for his very ill sister

a 16-year-old-son who spends time with much younger boys at all the meetings we go to

a most wonderful gift of an ipad with the Kindle app that makes reading one thousand gifts possible

the washing that comes from the water of His Word

the color green…my favorite…it speaks of new life…it calms me and moves something inside of me

a daughter who can send me a “haha” text when she is very ill

the safety that comes from the Lord

iron sharpening iron friendships
