How bad do you want a doughnut?

I heard that one of these marvelous shops opened in our train station.  Since we were passing through on Monday, we decided to try to find it.  We did find it, but didn’t get a doughnut.  Here’s why…There was this line……and then there was this line around the corner.  I’m not exaggerating when I say that there must have been at least 200 people waiting for the shop to open.  It was 8:30 a.m. when I took these pictures.  The shop opened at 10 a.m.!!  I decided I didn’t want a doughnut!

  1. It was like that in Tokyo, too. Crazy! I don’t make my way into Tokyo that often (it’s about a 30 minute train ride), and even if I did I sure wouldn’t be waiting 2 hours for a doughnut! I’ve heard it has gotten more reasonable with time, so maybe you’ll get yours eventually.

  2. Oh, my! as much as I love Krispy Kreme, I don’t think I could stand to wait that long. Maybe this will be a good indication to them that they need to put more locations there!

  3. Wow! I don’t think I would stand in such a long line either, even though Krispy Kreme doughnuts are yummy. Hope you will be able to go back soon and try one.
