This week has been an extremely busy one and the next week and a half will be more of the same. Tomorrow I have to give a speech in Japanese class. This shouldn’t be so difficult for a speech teacher, right??? It wouldn’t be if it was in English. A week from tomorrow I have two tests and on the following Wednesday I have the final exam. In the middle of all of that we are having guests and Easter preparations. I need to focus on the Lord, my Strength.

My God is strength.

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.

~Psalm 28:7

The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he hath girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

~Psalm 93:1

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

~Philippians 4:13

Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

~Psalm 19:14

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.

~Isaiah 12:2

I am at a season in my life where I experience a different kind of busyness-much being self imposed. I remember days such as you are experiencing and know the feeling of being and feeling overwhelmed at times. And when I think of all your coming responsibilities, I know it isn’t easy. Yet I can see that you are trusting in Daniel’s God most High-and meditating on His Word, keeping focused on what is true and not the “what ifs”, knowing that it is a moment by moment dependence on Him.Know that I will be praying for you as you go through these busy days. I shudder at the thought of learning Japanese. Spanish was a breeze, the indian language is much more difficult but grammatically a lot like Greek which I had studied but …Japanese…???? I admire you greatly! I mean it looks like chicken scratch!!!

What beautiful reminders to lean on Him who doeth all things well. Do you remember Pastor H. saying ‘He doeth all things well’ and ‘have eternity stamped on your eyeballs’ or something like that? Lifting up a prayer for that speech you have coming up soon.
